A set !

Hi peeps,

We are having a challenge this month at Itsy Bitsy and Crafters Corner which is to "create a set". I wanted to do it differently and so created this beautiful photo frame along with a co-ordinating tag. I have given a very shabby chic feel to it..and love the way it has turned out.

The frame has a lot of details and different elements. Here I go with the pics

No amount of pictures and editing can do justice to the real beauty of this frame ! The tag looks cute and complements the frame well.

Just a few close ups of the different elements

The butterfly with the wings is handmade . Pretty chipboard border from Itsy Bitsy

The red black tile embellishment in the above pic is handmade. Some "karigari" on the Tim holtz clock stamp !

A mix of flowers from Itsy Bitsy and Crafters Corner

Pretty Mulberry flowers and fillers from crafters corner
A complete view of the frame

                                                            Once again, "The Set"

Hope you like it !

I am entering this to

The Big 'B' Challenge

Hi ,

I am just not getting back at card making, there is so much more to do than just cards :) And I am totally loving it. Well ,mini albums have always been my fav but this is something I have tried for the first time. It's a wall hanging and came out to be really pretty.

The flower is handmade. There is a lot of Bling , studs, glitter, die cuts, epoxy stickers ,ribbon, flowers, buttons, bows, chipboard . Lots of detailing, and if not too good with pics, it is far better than what I used to click !

There are pearl beads, butterfly, die cut Eiffel tower.

Did you notice the chipboard border?

The ribbon for hanging has some beads too :)

I reserved the complete (and not so nicely clicked) pic for the end, and of course it flaunts three cute little bows.

And the supply list
MDF Wall hanging is from Kaisercraft - purchased from Itsy Bitsy
Chipboard letters from Itsy Bitsy
Glitter Flutter Vintage Butterfly from Itsy Bitsy Boutique elements (I am so much in love with their   boutique elements )

Hey Peeps,

Anyway, coming back to the agenda of this post, as I said I had been creating but not posting so this was created around 10 days back for the Itsy Bitsy Tri Color challenge. Each color is significant in its own way and this creation was although inspired from my friend and fellow blogger Mallika, but really reminded me of..."sandese aate hain " from Border :) Check the pics and u'll come to know what I am talking about !

Yes, its a mailing box, can be used to keep a secret or not so secret  message inside ! :D

The other side of the box with handmade flowers. I love how this turned out to be, keeping a minimum of our tri colors !

And here goes the supply list:

Locally purchased rhine stones

Easel drawer card

Hey peeps

I have been in love with easel drawer cards lately, they are such a perfect gifting option, 2-in-1, card cum drawer which can be used to pit in a small precious gift ! Keeping my post short and precise, I am having a bad and severe back ache problem..off to sleep after this post !

The roses are handmade, I am addicted to making these on most of my creations !

And now the drawer opened with some beautiful pieces of jewelry.

I am linking this to Yvonne's blog - punched flower challenge from Hussena - These are the same ones for which Hussena has posted a tutorial !
and Snehal's challenge - Box challenge

Hope you like it !

A souvenir from Venice

Hi again !

This is not a second post in a day but still its a post on a consecutive day ! Well, I had to share this new creation, its basically recycling of a normal cardboard box, but which carried a very special souvenir from Venice, I bought it from an island there and this is how it was originally contained in a box

And this glass boat I have tell you gave me a real hard time, I had to carry it in my hand bag for the entire journey (not to mention the airport formalities, I had one poor friend who was carrying a similar boat back home and it was broken while in her suitcase !) Well thank god I have it in one piece adorning my show case :) I transformed the box it into something like below

Has it not turned into something so gorgeous, I don't even feel like parting with the box !
The papers are from DCWV, Flowers from Itsy Bitsy - English Roses Vintage small, handmade butterfly, punched leaves, gems and buttons from stash and voila !

Tell me how do you find it ! I would be entering this for

Itsy bitsy craft Flowers challenge
For the love of crafting - The box is the recycled item
Snehal's chalenge  - create a box
All sorts challenge - distressing
Crafty catz - Monochromatic

Itsy Bitsy Craft flowers

Hi girls

I have been too lazy to do some posts lately but that is not keeping me away from scrapping ! While there are a lot of unfinished projects which I wish to complete and post here soon...I have done this one especially for Itsy Bitsy craft flowers challenge. The flower range with Itsy bitsy is very versatile and competitive, compared to other flower brands available in craft market.
I have quiet a lot of different Itsy Bitsy flowers for adorning a variety of projects.

Since the challenge demanded anything but a card/LO, I decided to embellish this box below which I bought about 2 yrs back...for no real purpose...but with these flowers, it has turned into something much more useful and very pretty, of course !

And this is how it looked like afterwards

The Itsy bitsy flowers used are Antique fusion flowers bubble gum, Harmony flowers bubble gum and English Roses Small Vintage

And now a close up of the pretty flowers. And oh yes, did you check out the creativity at the itsy bitsy blog, Sunehra has come up with some real innovative ways to use the flowers, its something to look at !

I {heart} Deutschland !

Hi Divas,

For the first time, I have created something dedicated to myself completely, ever since I have been to Germany, I am so much in love with it that I keep on looking at the treasured memories I have in the form of pictures, so I decided why not create something that would always remind me of the amazing time I have spent in Deutschland !  This is primarily based on The Paper Variety current sketch

I had taken these pictures near the river side in Germany on my very last day ! It was a girls day(and night) out :D Ohh...how I miss my buddies !!

I have used a lot of paper - Papermania, DCWV, KI Memories and bits and pieces from my stash

I love detailing, did you notice the 'donut' near the 'cookie/eye candy' paper !

And yes, how can I not mention about the big prettiest sunflower I am holding in my hand, well that was one of my 'parting gifts' from my dearest girlfriends. ..

Ironically, it was also carnival time in Germany, so carrying the flower everywhere kinda gave 'carnival feel' ..and made my last day..so memorable !

I am entering this to the following challenges

Mini Album

Heya,

How have you been? I had been going through some rough patch, lost some one near and dear to me :'( (but such is life), it really doesn't wait , learnt a few things, the hard way ! And realized why and where am I going? Is it worth 'my life' ...I don't know, may be I sound confused, that's probably because I am going through a phase where you dive deep into thoughts and come up with your own learnings. Anyway, I hope we all know what we want and at what cost ! Without anymore philosophical talks, let me show you this mini album which I have recently completed.

Cover page with a handmade rose
